Art Pieces

Among the most recognizable forms of religious art works are crucifixes and crosses. A simple or ornate cross can serve as a focal point for your home as long as it is placed in the right spot. Another way to fill up empty wall spaces would be with paintings. Paintings with Christian imagery are perfect if you are looking for a solemn and somber mood in a particular area of your home.

Engravings

Another kind of Christian décor that is commonly used would be engraved verses or scripture. They can be real engravings, or cross stitched ones, find one that reflects or depicts your faith or your family’s beliefs. It can be a prayer, or a specific Bible verse, and even a wise saying. However, the most common one you’ll find in homes would be prayers.

Statues

Another popular religious item for decoration would be statues. Using statues do vary between denomination and sect; however, it is still generally a home décor and shows the faith of the homeowner. Most of the time, it is the Catholics that generally venerate these statues. They usually place them on altars, setting aside a separate place for them to be placed.

There is no doubt that a good way to make a testament about your faith and to make a statement about it is through Christian home décor.

I only have one Christian home decor in my house and i have it next to my working table . Its a wall art of "Footprints in the Sand" -- it was a gift I got from my uncle and I love it. I think I may want to check on other Christian Home decor to make my home more inspiring.

Religious decors can help strengthen your faith in the Lord. When you see them, you can be reminded that He is there and will always be present in your home.

Thanks for a very useful hub.

Another great Christian home decor idea is to write out Scriptures and make your own posters.
