End Time Book Reviews

It is no wonder why the subject of end time events is popular these days. With so many of the prophesies that the Lord has given us through His Word coming true, most people are trying to find out more about this subject to help them understand it and not get caught off guard. Here are several books that you can check out to help you understand more about his topic.

The Book of Revelation is probably one of the most complicated and fascinating books in the entire Bible. It is no wonder that so many people are trying to make sense of what it means. The following books are from reliable authors who have spent most of their lives interpreting and understanding one of the most important books in the Bible.

Personally, I believe that every day we are nearing the end of times. It is helpful to have as much knowledge and information as we can about what will happen. This will help us understand as well as make other Christians or non-believers to understand what will happen next to the human history.  Many of the end time events are coming to pass today, people who discern this will benefit so much from the knowledge offered by these books.

1. "Are We Living in the End Times?" by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins

Tim LaHaye, a co-author in the famous “Left Behind” series of books, has written a very factual account of what will happen when the return of the Lord is at hand, leading to the actual appearance of Jesus here on Earth. The author has actually written several books about his same topic and this is one of the best, in my opinion. It not only cites Scripture pages, but it goes into details about what will happen in the future as the Lord returns.

2. "Revelation Unveiled" By Tim LaHaye

Another great book about the Revelation from this author, although, I would have to say that this is my favorite from him to-date. In this book, he not only discusses events that will happen cumulating in the coming of the Lord, but he also discusses in detail about what will happen during the 1000 year millennium. This will be the time when Jesus will establish his kingdom here on Earth from Jerusalem. It also tackles what we will get from it, which will be the New Heaven and the New Earth. This is definitely one of the best books in this topic and it cannot recommend it enough.

3. "The End Times Controversy" by Tim LaHaye

There is no hiding the fact that some people cannot really grasp or accept the events that will happen in the end of times. Events, such as the rapture or whether there is an actual antichrist is something that most people have trouble accepting. Tim addresses these questions in this book. It is recommended for those who might be looking for answers to these debates.

4. "The Popular Encyclopedia of Bible Prophecy" by Tim LaHaye and Ed Hindson

This book is another very informative book from these two authors. Bible prophecy topics are organized alphabetically, making it easy for anybody using this book as a reference, to find the right topic they need.  I consider this to be one of the best reference books on this topic. It is so easy to locate the topic you need and it is equipped with Bible commentary on what will happen in the coming end time events. When I need to look something about the end times, I usually use this book as my reference.

5. "The Late Great Planet Earth" by Hal Lindsey

This one is a classic. If you want to find out which book tackled this end of times subject back then, you need not look any further. Hal Lindsey is one of the first men that God has blessed with understanding and vision of how the end of times will be. He explains all the things that will happen to us in the coming of the Lord. He is truly one of God’s greatest soldiers.

6. "Prince of Darkness" by Grant Jeffrey

Another man truly blessed by the Lord in this area is Grant Jeffrey. He expresses his thoughts and knowledge of the end times in a very clear manner that it’s no problem for his readers to understand the coming events. Every page, out of the 350, is packed with information and details of what will happen. This book definitely belongs to my personal favorites list. If you want to learn more or understand the coming end time events, then I would suggest that you pick up this book. He discusses the coming New World Order as well as the events that are currently happening right now, setting up the stage for the coming of the Antichrist.

7. "The Jerusalem Countdown" by John Hagee

John Hagee is one of the noted pastors, author and Bible teacher of today. This book is his latest offering. We all know that Iran is becoming a crucial country in today’s world with their desire to develop nuclear weaponry. John is in touch with some of the highest ranking officials in Israel and he provides insight on what is happening behind the veiled curtains between Iran and Israel. This book has been in demand since it first came out and it is a great book to have if you want real and up to date information about the crisis that’s building in the Middle East.

8.  "101 Most Asked Questions About the End Times" by Mark Hitchcock

The author has a firm hold on the end times on the end times and teaches it well in this book. The format that Mr. Hitchcock follows is that he answers specific questions on the topic, which further shows his knowledge and expertise in this subject area. He has a very good way of explaining everything to you so that you can fully understand all of it.

9.  "Iran: The Coming Crisis" by Mark Hitchcock

This is a good book about the current crisis in Iran. Mr. Hitchcock provides good historical insight on Iran and the series of events that transpired and led to the present state of things wherein the government had expressed wanting to conquer the world through their new president. This book, and John Hagee's "The Jerusalem Countdown" are the best books that provides updates on the brewing crisis in the Middle East.
